To celebrate its 125th anniversary, the Perth Mint released a unique coin with outstanding aesthetics and deep detail. The commemorative coin features three iconic Australian animals: the koala, the kangaroo and the kookaburra.
The obverse features a portrait of King Charles III, the name of the issuing country - AUSTRALIA and the coin's face value of 1 DOLLAR.
The reverse features a koala, kangaroo and kookaburra artfully assembled in a golden wattle, which is the national floral emblem of Australia. The years 1899 and 2024 are minted on the band, marking 125 years of operation of the Perth Mint. The coin's weight, purity, year of issue and the mintmark "P125" complete the design.
The limited mintage of 150,000 pieces emphasizes the exclusivity of this commemorative coin and promises significant value potential.
